Contracts Manager

Description:

Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager to work at a location in Portsmouth

Key Responsibilities for the position include:
· Project Management: Oversee multiple roofing projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

· Team Leadership: Lead and motivate site teams, ensuring a positive and collaborative environment. Enthuse and inspire your team to maintain high standards of quality and productivity.

· Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing relationships, and ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

· Material Management: Order and oversee the delivery of materials, ensuring that all resources are available for the smooth running of projects.

· Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols on all sites to protect the well-being of the team and meet legal and company requirements.

· Reporting: Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management, addressing any potential risks or issues.

· Continuous Improvement: Actively seek ways to improve processes, quality, and efficiency across projects.

Key Skills & Experience required for the position include:
· SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification

· CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card

· Full driving license

· Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, preferably with roofing experience

· Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
