Description:
Our client is looking for a Logistics Administrator to work at a location in Portsmouth
Key Responsibilities for the position include:
Check medical instrument and implant sets back in from hospitals
Replenish stock within instrument sets and prepare them for future use
Pick, pack and ship medical sets in line with scheduled hospital requirements
Process stock movements and stock replenishment using the AX system
Monitor expiry dates and replace or remove out-of-date stock
Provide cover for sales order processing when required
Coordinate daily office administration and logistics activities
Liaise with transport providers to ensure deliveries are completed on time
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
Support the sales team with administrative tasks
Carry out physical duties, including lifting and moving medical equipment, in line with health and safety procedures
Resolve logistics and stock issues efficiently and professionally
Key Skills & Experience required for the position include:
Previous experience in administration, logistics, warehouse administration or stock control
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Confident using computer systems and learning new software
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Comfortable carrying out both office-based and physical duties
Able to work independently after training
A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
Reliable, adaptable and able to prioritise a varied workload
