Description:
Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to work at a location in Waterlooville
Key Responsibilities for the position include:
• Uncover new customers and opportunities within the territory
• Creating a business strategy to increasing growth for your territory and presenting that to the sales manager.
• Understanding customer needs and requirements whilst introducing and presenting the best solutions we offer.
• Skilfully executing each phase of the sales process from pipeline entry to closing the deal. Deliver sales activity to meet and exceed sales and margin targets.
• Building strong and long term relationships with clients - to be considered a trusted partner.
• Margin integrity; ensuring consistency and identifying opportunities for margin growth,
• Analysing customer risk and improve customer retention,
• Providing forecasting in support of the sales plan,
Key Skills & Experience required for the position include:
• Proven sales experience in a professional environment,
• Solid business acumen and commercial knowledge,
• Knowledge of customer risk and how to mitigate,
• Effective presentation and interpersonal skills, to run successful meetings,
• Strong planning and organizational skills,
• Exceptional communicator with a customer focused attitude,
• Positive attitude towards change and improvements;
• knowledge of the medical industry preferred, but not essential.
• A full and clean driving license
