A permanent hire is not always the right first move.

If you need extra people but do not want to commit to permanent headcount, V3 Recruitment can support a compliant PAYE temporary worker route that gives your business flexibility without building unnecessary long-term payroll risk into the company too early.

Instead of taking someone directly onto your permanent payroll, the worker can be engaged through a temporary worker arrangement with V3. That means the PAYE payroll administration, pension processing, holiday pay management, assignment paperwork and worker engagement structure sit through the agency route rather than immediately becoming a permanent employment commitment for your business.

The commercial benefit is simple: you get the labour you need, when you need it, without locking yourself into a permanent contract before demand is proven.

This works especially well where you want to:

cover peaks in workload

bring in extra staff quickly

test whether a role is really needed

use someone you already know without creating permanent headcount too early

keep recruitment cost under control

avoid rushing into a permanent hire

move from temporary to permanent only when the business case is proven

A compliant PAYE temporary worker route can also make ending an assignment more straightforward than unwinding a permanent role. Temporary assignments can usually be ended with short contractual notice, often far quicker than a redundancy or permanent employment process, subject to the agreed assignment terms and legal requirements.

That flexibility matters. If the work drops away, the project changes, the person is not the right fit, or the business simply needs to pause, you are not immediately dealing with the same permanent-headcount exposure that comes with hiring too early.

V3 can support this in two ways:

1. Payroll-only temporary worker support where you already have the person and need the worker processed through a compliant PAYE temporary route.

2. Recruitment plus payroll where V3 finds the worker, places them and manages the temporary worker process.

You keep your workforce flexible. V3 keeps the temporary worker route structured, PAYE-compliant and commercially clean.

If you need people but do not want permanent payroll commitment too early, talk to V3.
