BBC South Interview V3 Recruitment about Portsmouth Super Connected Broadband Grant Vouchers

As part of Super Connected Portsmouth, a scheme to improve digital connectivity in the city, Portsmouth City Council is inviting small businesses, social enterprises and charities to apply for a broadband connection voucher. V3 Recruitment are the first business in the area who have applied for and been granted the voucher.

Today James Ingham, Senior Broadcaster for BBC South Today came into our offices to do an interview with Andy Reynolds, our operation director with support from Karen Jones and Gemma Davidson who are currently managing the Super Connected Broadband scheme for Portsmouth City Council.

Managing director of V3, Alvin Edyvane, said “We are a business that prides itself on being innovative and in order for this to happen we embrace the most up to date technology."

"We have invested in the latest online CRM systems, cloud based websites and backups, internet telephony systems and video solutions but all of this advanced technology is a drain on our current internet solution."

"A business grade internet connection is the only way that we can reliably run our bandwidth-heavy tech. To discover that Portsmouth City Council is running the connection voucher scheme which could help us fund the upgrade was a welcome gift!"

As there are a limited number of grants which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, we encourage you to make the most of this offer while it is available. More information on how to apply can be found here.
