Business Development Executive
£18-20,000 PA

Are you brilliant at consultative sales both over the phone and Face to face?

My client is looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) who can identify, quote and win new Insurance customers in order to achieve the aim of growing the TAP business year on year. This role is in a competitive marketplace in the public services sector and requires flexibility, initiative and flair. You must be able to impress customers with leading brand propositions and be ahead of the competition.
Key elements include
a) Meet and exceed acquisition targets by building a sustainable customer base
b) Maximise customer satisfaction and develop solutions to meet customers’ business needs
c) Communicate effectively with customers, over the phone and face to face
d) Develop quantifiable business opportunities from outbound phone calls and maintain a high level of outbound activity
e) Plan, organise and lead potential new customer meetings
f) Maintain accurate records of calls and client files
g) Actively build client relationships
h) Actively communicate our presence in the sector by attending conferences and seminars
i) Plan, organise and attend new opportunity customer meetings
j) Be proactive in your approach to professional development with the CII
Risk capture is critical to ensure that we provide accurate advice and record accurate customer information and risk. The BDE must:
a) make every effort to identify all risks that the customer faces
b) provide the customer with appropriate covers to minimise their risks
c) escalate underwriting queries to the appropriate level
d) record risks and use their experience and the underwriting guidance to generate a quote
e) only provide written quotes / proposals (electronic or hard copy)

c) File reviews & compliance
d) Calls audits & activity & meetings made
