Office Manager
£40000 to £40000 per Annum

Key Responsibilities
--------------------------------------
  • Update legal requirements such as insurances and accreditations
  • Liaise with Accounts regarding HMRC, Payroll and pensions management
  • Implement appraisals with employed staff
  • Organise and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity
  • Develop goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity
  • Ensure that the company has adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g. people, material, equipment etc.)
  • Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals
  • Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Gather, analyse and interpret external and internal data and write reports
  • Assess overall company performance against objectives
  • Represent the company in events, conferences etc
  • Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines
  • Organise meetings, transport and accommodation when required
  • Attend meetings with Senior management


Key Skills / Experience
--------------------------------------
  • Proven experience as business manager or relevant role preferably part of a construction/commercial team
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities and timekeeping skills
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems
  • Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques
  • Experience in an administrative role
