Sales Executive - Permanent position - £18,000 - £24,000 PA
Job title: Business Consultant
Reports to: Operations Director
Role type:Permanent
The role
To maximise the organisation’s revenue and to ensure profitability through:
• Generating face to face opportunities for the sales team
• To support and increase revenues for the business
• Administration
• Data analysis
Performance Stats
• 12-15 decision makers to be reached each day
• 160 minutes of talk time to be generated per day
• 5 new business opportunities to be booked per week (minimum)
• Identify new opportunities through referrals
• 2 upsell opportunities to be generated each week (minimum)
• 1 testimonial to be obtained from the existing client base per month (minimum)
Sales
• To generate new business through telephone sales activities
• To produce and update scripting where necessary to generate optimum results for the sales team
• To meet, as a minimum, agreed sales and performance targets (see above)
• Forecast pipeline daily/weekly and monthly by controlling all call backs and advising wider team of opportunities in progress
• To maintain and maximise existing business potential by investigating additional areas of need for the company's services during all telephone and face to face contact with clients and candidates (upsell and referral)
• To exploit potential business opportunities including leads and referrals and at all times to promote the services offered by the company
• To make client service calls and to take the opportunity to develop business in addition to consolidating the relationship and monitoring the service provided
• To work within the scope of the company pricing policy
• To adhere to company terms and conditions of business
Administration
• To update all relevant information when liaising with clients (updating CRM)
• For example, but not limited to:
o Sales Funnels/lead tracker
o Update any absent fields of information to support future marketing (cleansing)
• Utilizing the email function to liaise and communicate with clients and prospects in a professional manner
• Feedback to wider team with any trends appearing within the database
• Complete all relevant office administration in line with company procedures
• Ensure that all company procedures are adhered to in a timely manner
General
• To keep management informed about any developments, trends or issues relating to clients, prospects or team members.
• To project a professional image in all aspects of personal presentation
• To assist with ad-hoc projects, campaigns and assignments as required
• To adhere to company policies, systems, procedures and codes of practice
• To make recommendations to management concerning potential improvements to company procedures and standards
• To perform any other duties as required from time to time by management
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Telemarketing experience essential
• Active listener
• A proven track record in the ability to deliver quality sales
• Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
• Ability to handle objections from clients and prospects appropriately
• Use initiative to further enhance results of the business
• Computer literate
