Production Operative

Description:

Our client is looking for a Production Operative to work at a location in Liss

Key Responsibilities for the position include:
•	Basic machine operating.
•	Operation of different production equipment.
	Presses, manual and automatic depending on training
	Punching machines
	DXF Laser Cutter 
	Spintrim
	Shot/bead blasters
	Inspection equipment as relevant and required (eg vernier caliper, Falcon)
•	Trimming and item finishing 
•	Inspection 
•	Packaging 
•	Uses of hand tools.
•	To maintain good housekeeping in your area.
•	To work within H&S guidelines.
•	Allocation of resources (following training)
•	Tool changes (following training).
•	Adjustment of machine set-up (following training).
•	Maintenance of machines (following training)


Key Skills & Experience required for the position include:
•	Computer Literate 
•	A basic engineering knowledge.
•	The ability to learn different machine operating techniques.
•	A keen eye and attention to detail.
•	The ability to work as a team or using your own initiative
